As part of their exciting growth strategy the company are seeking to appoint a new Head of eCommerce & Digital Marketing who will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies and plans to develop, support and optimise the commercialperformance of the business. The Head of eCommerce & Digital Marketing is responsible for developing company websites and digital platforms as user-focused, engaging online platforms, maximising their effectiveness and technical integrity to further the vision,purpose and values of the company.

The Head of eCommerce & Digital Marketing will also be responsible for developing and managing the company’s social media, e-marketing and digital advertising strategies. They will be expected to analyse the company’s digital presence to develop, manageand enhance their digital footprint and achieve e-commerce sales targets.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a managerial role and an in-depth understanding of how to best utilise eCommerce marketplace platforms to drive sales growth and profitability, delivering optimum product placement and visibility to potential customers.
- Experience of working with a website CMS, CRM systems, and data analytics software.
- Significant trading experience and capabilities with an eye for opportunities.
- Demonstrable experience with stock control software to manage stock levels, pricing and forecasting.
- Experience of creating content for and managing social media channels.
- Experience in managing external agencies and service providers.
- A digital marketing qualification or degree level in IT, computer science, business, marketing or English.
- Experience in managing and setting up 3rd party marketplaces such as Amazon.
- Experience of digital advertising systems including Google Ads, Bing Ads, LinkedIn Ads and Facebook Ads.
