TPP is working in partnership with **a leading global provider for British education and skills**, that **develops platforms for skill acquisition and enhancement**, to appoint a **Head of Global Business Development**.
This is a **full-time (35 hrs per week), permanent position**, offering **hybrid working** arrangements, working**2 days per week in the office and 3 days remotely**. The office is soon to be based in central London. The salary is **£50,000 - £60,000 per annum**, dependant on experience.

The organisation **works with a large number of UK professional bodies and universities** with relation to qualifications and assessments, professional and higher education, virtual and digital learning, and developing workforce skills.
**About the role - Head of Global Business Development**
This is a **new role**, focused on **developing partnerships with universities and training providers** in order to**roll out the organisation's own products and qualifications**, as well as those **developed in partnership with other professional bodies and universities**.
**Key responsibilities - Head of Global Business Development**:

- Responsible for securing partnerships with delivery centres and agents / resellers in international markets
- Identify, using research and own market knowledge, suitable target markets, producing business cases in support of the proposed strategies
- Act as a key commercial contact for the organisation's delivery partners, to support and ensure that approved centres deliver on student recruitment
- Explore and create other routes to market to enable the organisation to achieve its ambitions as an awarding body
- Research and create business plans detailing routes to market, to include outreach, HR support needed, potential barriers to market entry, risk, quality issues and cost implications
- Develop a plan and associated budget for the expansion of the business development team and subsequently manage that team
- Advise on marketing materials and channels
**Skills / Experience required - Head of Global Business Development**:

- Significant experience and track record of success in business development within a UK based, internationally focussed awarding body
- Demonstrable experience identifying and securing new and active delivery centres for an awarding organisation
- Strong understanding of the competitive environment in which internationally focussed awarding bodies operate, and potential routes to market in specified countries
- Competency in constructing and delivering fully researched business cases to internal stakeholders highly desirable
- Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis - anticipated to be approximately every 2 / 3 months for 1 / 2 weeks at a time
