YMCA Camp Williams is our longest running school holiday camp programme for young people, held every school break. We are recruiting for our February Half Term intake of Specialist Skill Clinic Camp Leaders to start on 13th February 2023 to work over half term.

We run specific Skills Clinics that children aged 8-15 years old can select to focus on during their time with us at Camp.

We need Specialist Camp Leaders who can use their skills, qualifications or passions to develop a clinic which will engage, teach and most importantly excite the young people in our care.

They will select a Skill Clinic at the beginning of each week and then focus on perfecting that skills throughout the week before a end of week showcase to the parents and guardians to show of their newly mastered skill.

We are exceptionally keen to speak with you if you have experience in:
Dance

Photography

Chess / games

Game design

Art

Sports football, archery

or any skill which could form the foundation of a skills clinic for the children and young people to learn.

This is an incredibly rewarding role where you are likely to have as much fun as the children in your care. This role would suit someone looking to gain experience with working with children, to support your current studies or career progression by gaining substantial and meaningful experience through the school holidays.

Students, recent graduates, teacher and others working term times/weekend only find Camp Williams a brilliant way to spend some or all of their school holidays.

Life at Camp

The camp day is 7.30am to 6pm and we operate Monday to Friday.

We divide up the children into age groups and have different, age relevant activities planned for the day. It high energy, intense and jam-packed full of fun

We would also need you to commit for whole weeks for consistency of the children in our care. We love seeing Camp Leaders return each holiday and would be able to give some level of commitment to ongoing hours over an academic year.
