Demand Planner

We are working with one of the UK's leading retail / e-commerce businesses, in search of a Demand Planner to join their growing and very successful team.
This is an exciting opportunity for any existing Procurement Executive, Demand Planner, Supply Chain Executive, Commodity Buyer or Purchaser to challenge themselves within this fast paced, dynamic and fast-growing organisation.
Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager, you will be responsible for planning and placing orders with the supplier base, as well as forecasting information both internally and externally that's critical to the continued growth of our business.
You will order stock from suppliers from the UK, Europe and Far East, proactively work with suppliers to chase deliveries and ETA's on out-of-stock products and ensure stock is delivered when it is needed.
In addition, you will be responsible for continually analysing order patterns and processes, noting any inefficiencies, whilst monitoring forecasts from our sales team and processing all order documentation and liaising with freight forwarders for Far Eastpurchases.
To be successful in this high demand role, you will have excellent working knowledge of Excel, experience in a buying/purchasing role with exposure to Far East imports. In addition, you will have excellent organisational skills, rigorous attention to detailand be able to build relationships with people of all levels both within the organisation and with suppliers.
