We are a market-leading engineering company based near Cambridge, seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of manufactured products to our warehouses and customers, working to align production schedules with both demand and capacity. * Support the successful handover of new products from Engineering to Production, ensuring that production plans are adapted to accommodate new product releases and updates.
* Identify potential issues in the supply chain or production process early on and implement corrective actions to maintain a smooth flow of operations.

Essential Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment, ideally in an engineering or technical industry.
* Strong understanding of MRP systems and production scheduling processes.
* Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills, with a proactive approach to managing production and inventory flows.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, particularly in Production and Engineering, to align schedules and meet key deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Experience with product lifecycle management, including the management of new product introductions (NPI) and product phase-outs.
Why Join Us?
* Competitive salary of circa £35,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
* Opportunity to work for a market-leading engineering company with a reputation for innovation and excellence.
* A supportive and dynamic work environment where your contributions will have a direct impact on business success.
* Excellent opportunities for career development and progression within a growing company.
