We have an exciting roadmap ahead for new products, services, production capacity and business expansion. As a result of this continued success, we are expanding our teams in Cookstown. We currently have an opportunity for a Materials Co-Ordinator.

Reporting to Materials Team Lead, you will work as part a team to handle materials in a safe and efficient manner at the Cookstown site. You will be responsible for creating a seamless flow of materials to Production and Stores.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Efficient and timely handling of all materials- Support Production through timely and accurate delivery of Parts- Use of PIT in a safe and efficient manner including Counterbalance, Reach Truck, Pallet Stacker, Tugger Truck etc.- Processing of Parts received to both Production and Stores- Prompt and accurate control of paperwork- Loading and Unloading of Materials deliveries- Compliance with inventory control measures- Compliance with internal environmental and waste management procedures- Following Standard Work procedures- General Housekeeping Duties

Experience and Qualifications:
Previous experience of working in a fast moving manufacturing environment- Valid PIT licence, preferably Counterbalance- IT literate - previous experience of MRP style system would be advantageous- Educated to GCSE standard- Understanding of Inventory Control

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Self-motivation and initiative- Ability to work well in a team- Ability to problem solve- Strive towards continuous improvement- Ability to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing priorities
