Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker

is looking to recruit a **Senior Residential Support Worker** to join their staff team for their 2 bed residential children's home located in Northwich, Ofsted rated 'Good'. The shift pattern is 2 days in and 4 days off. The 2 days in are from 7.30am until 11pm sleep over, going into the following day of 7.30am until 11pm sleep over followed by 4 days off. The home has a child centred ethos and it is paramount to its success. A full driving license is essential to the role as is a hard working and motivated attitude. A Diploma level 3 in Residential Childcare is required.

The advertised monthly pay is based on the contracted 173 hours, an average of 11 sleeps ins and an average of 4 on calls. On calls and sleep ins will be put on rota each month. The number of sleeps and on calls may vary.
- Each sleep in is paid at £50.00 per sleep.
- On calls are paid at £10.00 per on call.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support and assistance to individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
- Help individuals develop and maintain independent living skills
- Create and implement personalized care plans based on individual needs and goals
- Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition or behavior
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the individual's well-being and progress
- Promote a safe and supportive environment for individuals to thrive

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with individuals, their families, and other team members
- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
- Empathy, patience, and compassion towards individuals with disabilities
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations
