At Alliance Pharma we are offering a great opportunity for an export assistant to join our Supply Chain team on a fixed term contract for 12 months. As a valued member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the export department in managing the export of our products, directly contributing to the success of our AIM-listed organisation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Order Processing - Administer, process and monitor all export orders until timely customer delivery and receipt of payment.
- Forecasting - Support International forecasting data needs and coordination with customers. Ensuring customer needs are accurately fed into the forecasting system.
- Customer issues management - Proactive issues management (linked specifically to product supply to market) with both internal and external customers.
- Tender Administration - Administer the tender process, including the making out of timely price offers to enquiries. Database management of quoted tenders, follow-up on award and through to order execution, delivery and payment.
- Manage and monitor International & UK Exporter mailboxes - Proactively manage international business linked queries from around the world including pre-screening, re-routing, and providing customers with timely responses. Manage and respond to enquiries from customer group, UK Exporters, ensure full checks are carried out with internal departments to ensure compliant supply.
- Interaction with Warehouse and 3PL service providers - Effective communication of order requirements (packaging, labelling etc.) into warehouse. Coordinating with customers and logistic partners to provide cost-effective and timely dispatch of shipments.
- Departmental admin - Handling routine tasks such as couriers, communication with chamber of commerce for document certifications / legalisation, communication with banks for L/C purposes; maintain and own accuracy of relevant databases in line with guidelines received from line Manager; etc.
- Bonafide & Licence Checks - Administer license check process for new and existing customers in line with GDP compliance.
- GDP compliance - Maintain and support the Alliance Quality System to ensure compliance.

**The Person**:
To be successful in this role you will have experience in a previous export position, have knowledge of international freight organisations and a high level of international customer service. You must have experience of Incoterms 2020, which you can demonstrate at the interview stage of the recruitment process. You will be a great team player, prepared to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in to support a busy department, ensuring the smooth running of your designated area of the operation. The ability to speak and understand French is desirable but not essential.

You must be able to commute to our Head Office in Chippenham at least 2 days a week and have the ability to live and work in the UK. We are unable to support visas for this position.
