Homelessness Relief Officer

**Do you want to be part of a Team of Housing Professionals working with customers to empower them to find solutions to their housing needs? This may be the job for you**
You will provide a comprehensive homelessness service to people with a range of housing related issues. This will involve working with a Team of Housing Professionals to:
- Create individual housing plans for every applicant which fully reflects their needs and circumstances, whilst managing and resolving caseloads for those currently experiencing a housing crisis.
- Source appropriate short term and long term accommodation to assist the council in discharging its Housing duties, whilst maintaining accurate records, both written and electronically and ensuring they are captured and recorded accurately.
- A key part of the role will be working with our countywide partners to ensure that customers have access to support, benefits, health and supported housing pathways
This is a replacement role covering the West Oxfordshire, Forest of Dean, Cotswold District Council areas, but is primarily based in West Oxfordshire. Within the District, there are plenty of places to see and visit. With our agile working ethos: you will be spoilt for choice.
**You will need**
- Experience of working in a Housing or Homelessness focused service or:
- Experience of working with vulnerable people
- Experience of working with people with complex needs
- Experience of multi-agency working
- Experience recording and dealing with data accurately and effectively
- Experience of working with complex IT systems
**Special Conditions**
- Ability to travel throughout the district and to our other Publica offices
- BPSS
