Job Introduction
**So, what is this role exactly?**

Due to continued growth, we now have the opportunity to offer 2 x Property Maintenance Operative roles throughout Warrington and the surrounding area, that come with some real training and development opportunities.

Maintenance Operatives, here at YHG/Fix360 are an integral part of the team and have a varied role, responsible for the completion of repairs and basic maintenance to Your Housing Group properties.

This is a great entry level role for anybody that’s a **practical hands-on person, with some general repairs skills, and has a genuine interest in working in or further developing a career in Maintenance, Repairs or Construction?**

**And what will I be responsible for?**

In this role you will carry out repairs which may include, but will not be limited to, painting, decorating, mould wash & treatments, patch plastering, minor tiling work, assisting other trade operatives, small plumbing or joinery work, and general maintenance.

If you don’t have all the necessary skills or full experience, then read on. We are after people with a great attitude to work and who can demonstrate the right behaviours to deliver an excellent service to our customers. Ideally you will have some repairs / DIY experience and can show you are adaptable / flexible with the ability to learn and pick things up quickly.

We will support and train the right individuals to gain further understanding of various trades. We will help you gain further knowledge and skills, whilst you help us deliver repairs to our customers, and prepare you for a career in this sector.

**And what would make me stand out from the crowd?**

Although not essential, ideally you will have some of the following skills and experience.
- General DIY / Trade experience that cover some of the role responsibilities
- Full UK Driving License
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with customers / colleagues
- Able to use Technology such as mobile phones and PDAs.
- Ability to continue to learn and deliver excellent service
- Basic health and safety knowledge in a repairs environment

In return we offer a salary of £20,000 - £24,000 for a 40-hour week, and 22 days annual leave, plus 3 discretionary days between Christmas & New Year, plus Bank Holidays but our employee offering provides much more than just a competitive salary and holiday allowance.
