**The Position**

The role of the stock control and demand planning executive is central to the smooth running of the business. They will work closely with the stock manager to assist in the new product creation, product forecasting, product ordering and product delivery of Pineapple Island’s products. They control inventory flow by using protocols that help avoid loss mitigation when necessary so supplies can be tracked effectively while also analysing how much stock should exist at any one time.

**Responsibilities**
- Creation of new products both manually and by bulk upload.
- Raising purchase orders and sending to suppliers
- Booking in deliveries
- Checking quality of product and pack formats of deliveries
- Ensuring product stock is adequate for all channels and can cover demand from wholesale and retail customers.
- Analyse daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
- Monitor demand and analyse data to anticipate future supply and logístical needs.
- Develop stock reports to include fast moving/slow moving and priority lines
- Communicate with warehouse on new product arrivals to ensure locations are set up
- Communicate with warehouse on discontinued lines to optimise efficiency
- Develop business relationships with suppliers and clients.
- Communicate any quality control issues to suppliers to ensure stock quality standards are high
- To replenish and restock the B2C warehouse, from the B2B warehouse, to meet customer demand.
- To prioritise stock demand for channels where higher profit is predicted (B2C and pop-ups/festivals).
- To organise and maintain stock levels for events such as pop-ups and shop takeovers.
- Working alongside marketing and sales to ensure smooth management of stock for campaigns and product launches.
- Experience in forecasting and stock control in an e-commerce and wholesale organisation
- Proven experience of inventory control
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Working knowledge of inventory management and forecasting software.
- Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports.
- An analytical mind with strong numerical skills.
- Advanced excel skills (vlook ups and pivot tables)
