NewcastleunderLyme, United Kingdom Caudwell CHILDREN Full time

As Caudwell Children approaches its 25th anniversary, we now seek an inspirational, ultra-pragmatic and commercially minded CEO to lead from the front and drive our Charity to its next phase of development and beyond
- Do you have the ability to drive Caudwell Children to new heights?
- Are you an inspirational leader who can galvanise an already strong operational team whilst developing and growing an equally strong fundraising team?
- Do you have a competitive, driven and winning character that has shown exceptional results in education, sports and none work related achievements?
- Have you shown significant and repeated experience in growing businesses and organisations?
- Can you be the inspiration and conduit internally and externally for creativity and growth?
- Is your drive and ambition for success second to none?

**#JOINTHECHANGE**

We are seeking to partner with a truly exceptional strategic, yet hands-on leader, who brings an outstanding commercial track record that could have been gained from within a range of sectors such as Consumer, Technology, Financial Services, Healthcare/Life Sciences, Social Enterprise, Not for Profit or the broader business world. Regardless of your sector background you will need to be an innovator and a proven champion of partnerships/collaborations that have made a significant impact in maximising both revenue and bot-tom line. You will possess a demonstrable track record of sustained commercial success, growth and innovation. You will be recognised as a pioneering leader with unapparelled levels of tenacity, passion and determination to win.

Caudwell Children’s ambitions are not for the faint hearted as we aim to change lives, change society and change charity. We aspire to be transformative within the sector and aim to support as many children and families as possible. We recognise that this is only achievable by strong growth driven by clear, positive and compassionate leadership.

A commercial, pragmatic approach is essential in our customer-focused culture; ensuring our stakeholders experience the best customer service and desire to continue to support the Charity long into the future.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**

After a period of stability during which turnover has been circa £6m per annum, Caudwell Children now aims to focus on exponential growth. In a sector where unfortunately, demand will always outstrip supply, this growth will need to be driven by increasing all income streams whilst maintaining our exceptional high quality of service provision.
- Serve as the Charity’s figure head both internally and externally. Comfortable leading, presenting and influencing at local level, in Parliament and in the highest social and governmental echelons.
- Identify, generate and create opportunities, developing a robust and diverse fundraising portfolio across diverse income lines to support the Charity’s expanding service delivery.
- Drive income growth from individual, corporate and community supporters by sharing the work of Caudwell Children and motivating groups to support our vision.
- Strategic management and development of the Charity’s income generation, playing a pivotal part in taking the Charity to the next level.
- Oversee the public and regulatory face of the Charity.
- Represent the Charity and build strong relationships across different sectors driving forward opportunities and awareness.
- Provide strategic leadership to a diverse and growing team.
- Provide a nurturing and supportive environment for both employees and service beneficiaries.
- Be a conduit internally and externally for creativity.

**Essential Criteria**
- Significant and repeated experience in growing businesses and organisations.
- Enthusiastic, energetic and inspiring leader with a proven track record of creating, managing and retaining high performing teams.
- The skills to coach, inspire and mentor teams to achieve exceptional levels of performance.
- Empathic attitude which aligns with the Charity’s core values.
- Ability to transfer commercial acumen and skills into a not-for-profit environment.

**Disclosure & Barring Service Checks**

**Equal Opportunities**

**How to Apply**
