Are you an enthusiastic registered Mental Health Nurse, Social worker or Occupational Therapist that wants to be involved in an exciting new development? If so, then the Oxfordshire Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) service wants to hear from you.

Do you have previous clinical and some management experience and want to develop and consolidate these skills in a small but dynamic team.

The Oxfordshire ADHD Service is a new team providing comprehensive diagnostic assessment and initial treatment for adult patients without a previous diagnosis of ADHD. We also provide an extensive GP advice service, and consultation/support to our mental health professionals colleagues.

You will work clinical as part of the ADHD service but also an independent practitioner completing triage, initial assessments and reviews for patients in the Oxfordshier area.

The post holder will work closely with the Adult Mental Health Teams to provide tertiary care for individuals and specialist advice. The post holder will also contribute to initial Triage, new assessments and follow up appointments (where qualified).

The post holder will assist the Band 8 with the day to day running the service. This will include acting as the primary liaison between ADHD service, AMHT/ward colleagues, PCN hubs to collaborate on complex cases, and refine pathways for joint-working models. The Band 7 will also contribute to ensuring that systems are in place to gather relevant data for the service, senior management and commissioners.

Face to face assessments will be conducted at the Warneford Hospital. Some consultations will be conducted via a digital platform depending on patient need and availability. The successful applicant will be expected to supervise junior colleagues as the service expands, and as the relevant skills are gained.
