Quotations Administrator

**1. MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB**
As a Quotations Administrator, you will be responsible for understanding quote requests, compiling accurate quotes in line with pre-defined margins and ensuring quotes are delivered to our customers in good time.
**2. POSITION IN ORGANISATION**
Reports directly to the Service Manager with the key focus of quoting repairs, services and installations over a multitude of different electronic safety systems including fire alarms, security systems and Technology Enabled Care (TECs) systems.
**3.SCOPE OF JOB**

**Responsibilities**:
- Manage the quotations inbox ensuring that all quotation requests are actioned in line with the businesses internal KPI’s.
- Communicate with engineering teams, customers and suppliers to ensure that quotations are accurate.
- Using the company’s internal system, SimPRO to generate consistent quotations ensuring that the appropriate margins are met.
- Ensure equipment pricing is regularly updated in line with manufacturer and supplier changes.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and operations teams to analyse current pricing strategies and identify opportunities to enhance profit margins through strategic quotations and upselling additional services.
- Understand the customers scope of works and ensure all quotes fully comply.
- To be responsible for escalating difficulties that cannot be readily overcome or are likely to jeopardise the delivery of a quotation.
- To use own discretion to make decisions and take appropriate action to meet the needs of the job whilst complying with processes and procedures.
- To ensure that you are aware of the need to safeguard sensitive customer information.
- To be responsible for personal safety and to be aware of the safety of colleagues and general public by complying with all procedures within the Health and Safety Policy.
- To complete safety training and adhere to all safety standards as per company process
- To ensure that Sentinel’s Code of Conduct is followed at all times.
- Championing the highest standards of customer care to further ensure Sentinel maintains its position as a supplier of choice
- Supporting customers with any queries relating to on-site works
- Ensuring a consistently high level of quality is achieved
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in an administrative role
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Google Suite
- Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to perform clerical tasks efficiently
- Competent in data entry with accuracy
Pay: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
