**Responsibilities**:
As a Major Orthopaedic Scrub - Lower Limb (Hips + Knees) (ODP), you will be responsible for providing high-quality scrub assistance to the surgical team in major orthopaedic procedures, specifically focusing on lower limb surgeries, such as hip and knee replacements. Your main responsibilities will include:

- Preparing the operating theatre and equipment for surgery
- Ensuring the surgical instruments and supplies are properly sterilized and available for use
- Assisting the surgeon and surgical team during the procedure, handing them instruments, sponges, and sutures as required
- Maintaining a sterile field throughout the surgery to minimize the risk of infection
- Monitoring the patient's vital signs and assisting with anesthesia administration, if necessary
- Providing post-operative care and ensuring the patient's comfort and safety
- Documenting patient information, surgical procedures, and any complications or incidents

**Requirements**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A recognized Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) qualification
- Previous experience working as a scrub practitioner in major orthopaedic surgeries
- Excellent knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques
- The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- The flexibility to work the specified shift timings
