Account Executive - Event Delegate Management
Location: London

Purpose of the role
- Reporting to the Events Manager - Logistics, Event Manager and Senior Account Director, this role provides a great opportunity for an Account Executive with some events experience to join a busy team and develop.
- You will help in putting on a range of events (promotions and product launches, social events, cultural events, large international conferences).
- You will assist in managing the whole process from planning stage right through to running the actual event itself and the post event evaluation.
- The role is very hands-on and involves working as part of a team as well as working on your own. You will work with the account management, PR/comms and events team members.

**Responsibilities**:

- Research, evaluate and prepare delegate communication material in support of the smooth transition and attendance of invited guests at relevant conferences/events
- Efficiently and successfully organise and co-ordinate the logistics and administration of all assigned event registration, travel and accommodation requirements in support of the client’s activity
- Provide high-quality on-site support, helping facilitate the first-class delivery of work by the team
- Produce, review, monitor, update and action project-related documentation, ensuring that appropriate records are maintained and correctly filed

**Requirements**:

- Strong experience on Excel essential
- Experienced in the use of registration systems (preferred). If not, trying will be provided
- Delegate Management experience
- Strong team player
- Strong verbal and written English skills
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic, with a positive can-do attitude
- Excel, CRM system knowledge, a keen eye for detail
- Flexible to work overseas/Must be available and able to travel frequently

Other
- Mainly working from home. We have a serviced office in Central London for use when required
- Flexible about working long hours and weekends when required
- Willingness to travel and spend time away from home often at short notice for up to five days or more at a time in some instances - Predominantly in Africa.
