**Are you a skilled carpenter with a passion for fire safety?**

Due to our continued growth and success, we are currently seeking a dedicated, time served individual to join our team as a Fire Safety Carpenter/Inspector. You will be responsible for inspecting, installing and maintaining fire safety doors in residential and commercial buildings.

The role would suit a time served carpenter, who is looking for a balanced role who enjoys to be challenged mentally as well as physically.

Key responsibilities include:

- Inspecting Fire doors to British Standards
- Detailing a defect material list to enable office to provide defect quotations
- Installing and repairing fire-rated doors, frames, and hardware as per site inspections
- Building and Installing fire-rated enclosures e.g. electrical meter cupboards etc
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations
- Keeping detailed records of work completed and inspections conducted
- Proven experience as a carpenter, construction setting
- Knowledge of Fire safety desirable but not essential as training will be provided
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Computer literate
