Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently working with a successful window and door business who are looking to recruit a Purchasing Manager on a permanent basis. As a purchasing manager you will identify and evaluate new and existing suppliers to ensure bothbest practice and cost effectiveness.

**The role**:

- Understanding all companies’ product component parts to be purchased.
- Identifying any ancillary products, services, and equipment to be purchased.
- Performing all procurement activities including pre-qualification, supplier negotiations, agreements, and contract management with regards to rebate schemes.
- Managing procurement budget and preparing cost estimates.
- Developing strong relationships with all supply partners to improve business relations.
- Managing overall co-ordination and evaluation of procurement for the organisation.
- Ensuring that supplier pricing is correct by checking invoice values and querying any variations.
- Identify areas for supply chain improvement.
- Compiling and maintaining purchase records, supplier database and procurement contracts.
- Overseeing daily activities of the purchasing department, including delegating tasks and supervising team.
- Must have experience within a purchasing manager role within the windows and doors industry
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have financial and accounting knowledge
- Excellent computer skill and knowledge of Microsoft office
- Outstanding attention to details
