**SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT - RECEPTION CLASS - LANCASTER**

**The Lancashire Teaching Agency (LTA) are the partnership agency with Lancashire County Council, and we are now recruiting for a Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in Lancaster to support a pupil in Reception. Duties willinclude personal care and behaviour management.**

**The hours will be 12.45pm until 3.10pm Monday to Wednesday and 11.30am until 3.10pm on Thursday and Friday.Additional hours will also be available as and when required.**

**The role is to start immediately is likely to continue throughout the academic year.**

**The Teaching Assistant will**:

- Hold a minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Have a good understanding and knowledge of EYFS curriculum including; Phonics, Maths and Literacy experience
- Have experience with working with pupils with Special Education Needs
- Have previous experience within a primary school setting
- Be enthusiastic and passionate about developing a pupil learning, and social needs.
- Have the ability to develop good relationships with children and adults
