Hightown is an active member of the "Homes for Cathy" group of housing associations, which is committed to providing services to tackle homelessness.

**About the Role**

We currently have an opportunity for aTenancy Sustainment Supervisor (TSS) delivering a highly professional customer focussed service to Hightowns general needs tenants, intermediate rent tenants and shared owners, providing short-term support to establish and sustain tenancies, and to prevent tenancy breakdown.

The service aims to minimise the financial and social costs of tenancy failure for the individual, and the financial costs to the Association associated with possession action and eviction. The TSS will assist in maximising Hightown's rental income by providing information and assistance to tenants and applicants for housing on welfare benefit entitlement, fuel poverty and household budgeting.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide specialist advice and practical support on a range of issues to help tenant.
- keep up to date with changes and developments in legislation and best practice in tenancy sustainment
- Help tenants move from unemployment or low paid employment by assisting with access to education and training initiatives.
- provide regular reports on referrals to and outcomes of the tenancy support service.

**About You**

You willline manage and motivate a team of Tenancy Sustainment Officers and Financial Inclusion Officers to provide high quality, customer-oriented services.

For the role ofTenancy Sustainment Supervisor, you will:

- Promote Hightowns vision and values
- Be Educated to degree level or relevant
- Have knowledge of Housing Benefit, Universal Credit, DWP benefits and sources of funding
- Be computer literate with good understanding of spreadsheets and ability to use various software packages.
