**Salary range: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum**
- We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join Strettons.- The role is based mainly at the office, but you will be able to work from home one day a week. As part of a Finance and Accounting Department comprising c.10, you will work alongside two other finance colleagues and report to the Finance Director.**Your key tasks and responsibilities**:

- Effective collection of overdue accounts and monitor to collection targets.- Monitoring and allocation of cash.- Bank reconciliations.- Work in progress reporting to Fee Earners and line manager.- Accurate records of all chasing activity.- Production of sundry and ad hoc invoices through Sage 200.- Daily/weekly/Monthly cashflow reporting.- Regular debt monitoring and reporting (DSO days, payment arrangements etc).- Production of debt-chasing reminder letters.- Follow up on reminder letter process.- Liaison with Fee Earners and Department Heads regarding debt status and action.- Telephone calls to clients.- Bad debt collection legal procedures, including liaison with solicitors and other collection support services (i.e., small claim court).- Customer account maintenance.- Query handling and investigation.**Key details and skills**:

- Previous credit control experience (ideally within a small team environment).-
- Experience with Sage 200.- B2B Collections.- Strong Excel Skills.- Ability to build relationships / strong communicator.- Analytical approach.- Accurate and attention to detail.- Property knowledge would be advantageous.- GCSE or equivalent Maths and English or above.**Experience**:

- Accounting: 1 year (preferred).- Credit control: 1 year (preferred).About Strettons
