- 27.5 hours per week
- Term time plus 1 week
- Fixed Term until 19th July 2024.
- Salary - MRS Scale E, Point 7 - Point 11 actual salary £15,461 - £16,534 (Full time equivalent annual salary £24,294 - £25,979)

The Short Stay School for Norfolk is a single countywide institution which meets the needs of a diverse cohort of vulnerable young people from 8 physical locations. Most of our young people have been permanently excluded from school and are preparing for an onward transition to a new school or specialist provision.

This post involves working across our Short Stay and Compass schools, supporting young people between the ages of 5-16 who have a wide range of complex social, emotional and mental health needs to improve their school attendance.

Applications are encouraged from people who have:

- Experience of and commitment to working in an educational setting.
- An adaptive, consistent and kind approach to supporting pupils to achieve their best.
- Good communication skills and the ability to build positive and professional relationships with pupils, parents/carers and multi

This post will come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations and the successful applicant will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations.
