We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and hard-working Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team at Holiday Inn Express Birmingham City centre who provides a high standard of service to our guests.

**What are we looking for?**
- Be flexible in your offering, you'll be cooking, serving drinks at the bar and all with a smile
- Making sure guests are greeted with a warm smile, the dinner offering is to standard, and that the Kitchen is clean and tidy at all times.
- Be fully conversant with and ensure all ‘shift procedures' are carried out during your shift Kitchen. This includes following procedures for opening shifts, guest satisfaction, health and safety and closing a shift.
- Be responsible for basic cooking and food preparation as required.
- Responsibility must be taken for any problems or queries that arise during your shift, to either resolve them yourself or seek assistance from the Duty Manager.
- Be fully aware of the hotel product, facilities and services available throughout the hotel.

**The Skills and Experience you need to thrive in this role**
- Ideally you will have worked in a hospitality/food and beverage environment and be able to demonstrate initiative and who can multi task effectively, be enthusiastic and positive in nature.
- You will be someone who has a reputation for delivering great service and being fun to work with.
- You will be committed to working on a weekly rota basis, which includes working weekends.
- We don't need you to be fully trained in systems and procedures, but we do need you to want to do a great job
