Part-time Bookkeeper

**Duties**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts
- Accounts preparation incorporating trial balancing for year-end and periodic reporting
- VAT returns
- Helping to resolve financial queries
- Calculation and reconciliation of more complex data
**Requirements**:
- Strong knowledge and experience of accounting principles and practice
- IT proficiency (particularly Excel) is essential
- Consistent attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Able to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
- Able to manage workload to meet various deadlines
- Flexible approach with a positive attitude to problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

- Enthusiasm and willingness to provide the highest quality service to clients at all times
- You will be self-motivated and organised, able to prioritise your workload.
- Willingness to work with the team and to offer guidance to other members of staff
- Good communication skills to see and challenge information, ensuring a smooth accounting process
- Must be keen to learn and update skills through training
