Duties:

- Perform bookkeeping duties, including but not limited to:

- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Recording financial transactions in appropriate ledgers
- Reconciling bank statements and accounts
- Preparing financial reports and statements
- Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit control
- Conducting account analysis and reconciliations
- Assisting with budgeting and financial planning
- Processing payroll and ensuring compliance with tax regulations
- Handling tax preparation and filing

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Proficient in using Sage 50
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Familiarity with governmental accounting regulations is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong analytical skills for account analysis and reconciliation
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
