welcoming significant numbers with the right safeguards in place.

Digital and Data services are a key part of that humanitarian response. This includes capturing offers of accommodation and providing tools to help the process of matching displaced people to those offers.

This role sits in the Scottish Government’s Digital Directorate, working in partnership with the recently formed Ukraine Resettlement Directorate.

**Job description**:

- Deliver and build out the Programme’s roadmap in collaboration with the Service Owner and Product Manager
- Build, maintain and mature a motivated and collaborative team, ensuring they are working effectively in an agile way, creating a supportive delivery environment underpinned by wellbeing
- Identify obstacles and help the team to overcome them, balancing multiple priorities, identifying and dealing with ambiguity
- Focus the team on what is most important to the delivery of products and services. Break down the work and, working with the Product Manager, focus the team on priorities making clear, pragmatic and manageable plans
- Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement of the delivery team
- Ensure that all products are built to an appropriate level of quality, preparing the team for assurance processes including Gateway Review and Digital Scotland Service Standard
- Manage coordination and delivery of engagement with Senior Responsible Owner and Programme Governance, ensuring that governance is effective and efficient and build productive relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as an ambassador for the service.
- Manage reporting processes to governance boards, including RAIDD management
- Take responsibility for identifying appropriate contractual frameworks and suppliers, and manage complex relationships once suppliers are in place in order to meet expectations and achieve value for money
- Manage commercial processes, working with external suppliers and partner organisations to ensure value for money, knowledge retention and grows digital our digital eco-system
- Design and manage a Programme’s Portfolio Planning
- Quality Assure Status Reports from projects delivering digital transformation work in public sector organisations.
- Support the development of a Tools & Template strategy for Division
- Actively contribute to the division’s Delivery Management Practice and Product and Delivery Practice to ensure consistent best practice in the division’s delivery management space

**Person specification**:

- Clear track record of managing and delivering large and complex programmes from discovery to live, working with internal and external suppliers.
- Adept in Agile and Lean practices, and an ability to coach within and outside of your team.
- Experience of creating clear, pragmatic and manageable plans for project delivery, and tracking and reporting on progress, aligning and managing resources appropriately
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity within a digital environment.
