**About the role**:
The Executive Assistant role will be focused on the day to day running of the Global Delivery Operations (GDO) EU region. Tasks will be varied in their content including administrative duties to the function, liaising with colleagues located across various international sites, attending meetings, note taking, diary management, liaising with both internal and external customers and senior/Executive management.

Professional capability in the Executive Assistant role is displayed when the smooth running of the department occurs a result of the day-to-day activity of the Head of the Region/function being aligned to that of the wider team. The following responsibilities show the main tasks that need to be carried out by the incumbent:
**Communication**
- Ensuring prompt and effective communication between the various units, across the region.
- Dealing with day-to-day matters in relation to the smooth running of the department
- Handling any concerns in the absence of the Head of the Region and keeping them informed and always updated.

**Administration and Dairy Management**
- Producing accurate and timely reports, attend meetings to record minutes, including off site meetings where required.
- Dealing with all correspondence.
- Updating appropriate systems and tools.
- Collating and distributing various material as and when required.
- Maintaining the Head of Regions diary, maintaining regular updates of appointments, ensuring the preparation for meetings and liaising with both local and regional senior managers.
- Produce power point presentations as requested by the Head of Region.
- Support and coordinate presentations for the wider team as requested.
- Facilitate all expenses for the Head of Region.

**Event Management**
- Support and facilitate company and/or department campaigns events etc
- social events and travel arrangements for nominated management when required.

**About you**:
**Knowledge and abilities**
- Ability to engage and partner with customers and internal staff as required.
- Ability to work in a virtual matrix team environment.
- Ability to identify problems and work to resolution as required.
- Work independently or as part of the wider team

**Experience**
- 10+ years overall experience within a global environment
- Possess understanding of Worker’s Councils, Human Resource, and employee requirements related to change management
- Project management experience
- Ability to prepare business cases and present effectively
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Results driven
- Negotiation and problem-solving skills
- A global approach and an appreciation of cultural differences
- Good team player, with ability to act as individual practitioner and/or leader
- Analytical, inquisitive mindset with strong interpersonal, communication, presentation skills
- Ability to facilitate discussions/meetings/understanding of business/IT requirements
- Ability to effectively influence and persuade
- Excellent attention to detail
