We are seeking an Editorial Assistant to provide operational and administrative support to a team of three commissioning editors in the Psychology books team. Reporting into the Executive Publisher for Psychology books, you will work within a global team of editorial professionals.

**About the role**
Cambridge is a leading international publisher of research and higher education books in Psychology. The work of the Editorial Assistant is critical in maintaining and enhancing the quality and success of our programme. You will assist with list management and development - providing high quality guidance and support for our authors throughout the writing process and helping to ensure timely publication within budget.
You will collaborate closely with the Content Management team to prepare manuscripts for production and will liaise with numerous other stakeholders across the Press, including Legal, Finance, Marketing and Sales.
This role is an ideal entry into book publishing; full on-the-job training will be provided and numerous opportunities for career development and progression are available.
**About you**
You will have exceptional communication, administrative and time-management skills, as well as a flexible approach to work. You will be able to manage a wide variety of projects at the same time, and on your own initiative when required.
A demonstrable interest in psychology is desirable and some prior office experience would be an advantage, though is not essential.
