This is a key role to ensure we continue to run a compliant and safe production site, with this additional headcount assisting in continuous improvement opportunities at our flagship site, where we are driving for increased production.

We will look to you to work autonomously across our three key production areas, championing food safety and quality through compliance and audits, partnering with various stakeholders.

SDUK's brands include the Nation’s favourite cheese brand Cathedral City plus other well-known butter & spreads (Davidstow, Clover, Country Life, Vitalite, Utterly Butterly), functional ingredients and dairy free products.

YOU’LL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY
- Maintaining blade register, glass and plastic audit, and ensuring non-compliance is corrected with the relevant teams.
- Ensuring GMP and internal audits are conducted throughout the site, striving for daily improvement and engaging all teams and departments in quality.
- Conducting incoming and outgoing checks to goods and materials to ensure compliance.
- Driving front line foreign body identification and investigation, ensuring collaboration with the relevant department teams.
- Checks of CCP’s, labelling etc. to ensure quality and food safety compliance
- Environmental sampling as per schedule.
- Conducting hygiene assessments.
- Registration of QA samples to internal and external laboratories.
- Verifying operator checks where required and participating in laboratory proficiency testing.

YOU’RE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU ARE
- Experienced with QA/auditing responsibilities and requirements - or can showcase strong knowledge.
- Experienced with, or can show an understanding, of HAACP
- Experienced working within food production environments.
- A hands-on individual, with an eye for detail and ability to influence the actions of others.
