Job Opportunity

Saputo Dairy UK is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to support the ongoing maintenance of our large-scale water processing facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of our plant through planned preventative maintenance schedules and technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete day-to-day planned preventative maintenance schedules to support the delivery of the site maintenance strategy.
  • Drive a quality culture through adherence to first-class engineering techniques.
  • Provide technical guidance for the planning and completion of maintenance activities on water processing stages.
  • Support and develop continuous improvement activities, including data-driven root cause analysis.
  • Identify, source, and ensure availability of maintenance spares, collaborating with the stores team.

Requirements:

  • Qualified engineer through an apprenticeship, NVQ, or HNC.
  • Experience working in a large-scale water processing environment, with hands-on experience with pumps, motors, filters, valves, gauges, etc.
  • Hands-on approach to engineering, working in/outdoors.
  • Ability to work in a team, supporting others with their workload and development.
  • Comfortable working with different computer systems.
  • Experience completing risk assessments.
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of lean methodologies.
