The Institute of Group Analysis (IGA) is a charitable organisation, which provides training in group analysis and group work. We offer a core training leading to qualification as a ‘group analyst’. In addition, we offer a wide range of short and taster training courses, bespoke training and consultancy, CPD workshops, support for members with their Continuing Professional Development needs and a national referral service.

This is an opportunity to join a friendly and hard-working administration team in an informal working environment. You will be reporting to the Operations & Centre Manager, but there is a lot of cross
- team collaboration.

The post holder is the first port of call for events, short courses and communications.

Communicating with members, trainees and the public through updating the IGA Website, the IGA e-notice board and IGA News - and all other electronic communications platforms such as Twitter, Facebook etc.

**Key Job responsibilities**
Key areas of responsibility and focus are:

- Devising and implementing campaigns across social media using (Twitter, Facebook,) and interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments
- Promotion of the IGA to external stakeholders by participating in planning, idea creation and implementation of various marketing projects
- Administration of Events and Short Courses

**Essential Skills & Experience**:

- Strong organisational, planning and project management skills
- Ability to switch roles, prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Ability to interpret and deliver actions with a sharp attention to detail, to produce and present accurate information
- Ability to manage multiple flows of information, a creative thinker who can come up with original, highly shareable ideas
- IT literate with some experience of using digital tools in a business environment
- Some experience of working in a marketing role/ work placement/ work experience or willingness to learn
- Experience of providing effective customer/staff support
- Experience of social media and content creation
- Experience With e-Newsletters (Mailchimp)
- Maintaining and updating websites (Wix, WordPress )
- Ability to build strong professional working relationships
- Ability manage workload independently
- Ideally some university level education in Marketing, Events and Communications. Would suit a final year placement student or recent graduate

**Desirable Skills & Experience**
- Experience of databases and CRMs
- Basic knowledge of web design
- Strong social media presence
- Adobe Acrobat skills
- Experience with SurveyMonkey
- Zoom/Teams experience

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 21 per week

**Salary**: £15,000.00 per year
