Our client is a specialist International Freight and Logistics provider working in the Events sector with offices in the UK, Europe, the Middle East, USA and Australia. They are looking for an experienced Project Manager with Multi Modal Freight experienceto fulfill the following role: Managing multi modal logistics operations, acting as primary point of contact to provide client support, planning and optimisation to to ensure successful completion of assigned projects in the Live Events, Sports & Entertainmentssectors.
- Day to day operations in air, road and sea freight
- Securing bookings with carriers (airlines, hauliers etc)
- Preparing shipment document such as AWB’s, BOL’s, Invoices, Packing Lists, ATA Carnets and Certificates of Origin
- Entering jobs into the Cargowise system
- Customs clearance.
- Assisting with organising and delivering logístical aspects of a tour / event
- Liaising with overseas agents / other offices for movements into / out of their territories, for any assigned project
- Obtaining costs from service providers, nationally and internationally
- Preparing and sending quotes to customers, when instructed
- Producing small transport/logístical budgets
- Providing customer support for any job/project assigned
- Attending onsite projects when required
