A great opportunity has arisen in an international engineering company for a Shipping Administrator to join the team responsible for the import instruction process to carriers, ensuring shipments are sent out & delivered on time to customers and global offices.

Your remit will be:

- Managing the shipping inbox for imports, creating instructions to carriers and updating records
- Liaise with relevant departments to co-ordinate courier shipments
- Creating shipment invoices & packing lists
- Ensure all courier shipment deliveries are made in line with customer and company instructions
- Act as contact for customer and internal queries relating to shipping or status enquiries
- Maintaining and updating various existing spreadsheets

Ideally you will possess excellent knowledge of the logistics and freight industry combined with knowledge of customs/HTS codes and sound administration detail. Being an effective communicator is also important, along with a knowledge of Excel.
