We are currently recruiting for a Lead Quality engineer to support our Nuclear & Defence sector from our North East office. This role will involve leading Quality Management on EPCM projects(s) with a team of skilled quality staff, taking on a supervisory role related to various elements such as: auditing, technical governance and execution; reviewing and approving quality plans/inspection and test plans; providing support to all elements of Project Delivery Management and ensuring effective and compliant quality input into all activities through the full project lifecycle.

The Lead Quality Engineer will be accountable for quality management in Engineering, Procurement and Construction delivery and will evaluate progress and outcomes, to determine improvements. You contribute to innovative quality solutions at a company-wide level and take a leading role in customer services and influencing customer decision making.

Applicants should be degree qualified in an Engineering Discipline or Quality Management with a proven background in a similar role within engineering/highly regulated industry. You should also have a good understanding of regulatory requirements as well as energy sector codes and standards.
