**Recovery and Anaesthetics Practitioner (ODP) - Temporary - Circle Health Group**: Circle Health Group is looking for an experienced and talented Recovery and Anaesthetics Practitioner (ODP) to join the team at The Priory Hospital, Priory Rd, Birmingham, Birmingham, B5 7UG. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team on a temporary basis from 16/11/2023 to 16/11/2023.
**Purpose of the Role**: The Recovery and Anaesthetics Practitioner (ODP) is a key role within the anaesthetic team at the hospital. The successful applicant will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining patient comfort during a range of anaesthetic procedures and supporting the anaesthetist to ensure a successful outcome. As part of the anaesthetic team, this role also encompasses administrative duties such as ordering and restocking anaesthetic supplies and equipment.
- Providing pre-operative and post-operative care for anaesthetic patients.
- Monitoring patients during anaesthetic procedures, providing comfort and administering drugs where necessary.
- Undertaking airway management and other anaesthetic interventions as directed by the anaesthetist.
- Administering general and local anaesthetics as instructed by anaesthetists.
- Recording and documenting patient observations and inputting data into the computerised anaesthetic record.
- Ordering and restocking anaesthetic supplies and equipment.
- Liaising with other medical and nursing staff on the ward or theatre suite.
- Helping to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Be an experienced and qualified Recovery and Anaesthetics Practitioner (ODP).
- Have experience in monitoring and maintaining patient comfort during anaesthetic procedures.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to work well as part of a team.
- Have working knowledge of relevant healthcare legislation.

**Shift Details**: This is a full-time temporary position, working 8-hour shifts from 8am to 6pm, with an hourly rate of £290.30 per shift.
