**Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetic Lead**

An experienced Anaesthetic Nurse/ODP is required to join a state-of-the-art hospital in Birmingham as an Anaesthetic Lead.
**Duties and what the successful Anaesthetic Lead will be offered**:
- Offered a salary of up to £45,000
- Full Time Permanent contract
- Will work closely with the Surgical Services Manager, to facilitate the Professional Development Plans for staff within the department and ensure the cost-effective use of resources.
- Act up or deputise for the Surgical Services Manager when required
- Prepare patients and provide assistance or initial emergency care for clinical/ operative procedures, both in anaesthetics and surgery
As the Anaesthetic Lead, you will provide clinical leadership and support colleagues to plan, monitor and evaluate skilled and appropriate care for patients undergoing different forms of anaesthesia and surgery to ensure the provision of evidence-based care.
**Applicants for this Anaesthetic & Recovery Practitioner position should be**:
- Qualified as an Adult/General Nurse/RGN with NMC registration or as a Theatre Practitioner/ODP with HCPC registration
- Experienced in an anaesthetic setting
- Ideally have ALS, Airways management certification?
- Mentorship Course?/ supervisory experience
- Cardiac surgery experience is desirable
