Internal Sales Representative

Opal Personnel are delighted to be working with a new client who are looking for additional Internal Sales Representative in their Manchester branch.
The client are a freight and logistics company who have been operating for 40 years. With many years in the industry, their knowledge of import and export supply chains as well as customs clearance requirements, continues to help them to trade goods globally.
This client have a strong global presence with support of our their companies in the Netherlands and within the United Arab Emirates. They also have long trading ties with key partners in Asia, the Americas, and the Mediterranean.
The Role
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for prospecting, generating leads and securing new customers for the business across all modes (Air Freight, Road Freight & Sea Freight). Support will be offered throughout the process with help from their experienced team.
This role requires a proactive approach in identifying and qualifying potential clients, as well as following up on existing identified sales leads. You will be expected to manage your own pipeline, make outbound calls, and utilise various communication channels to build relationships and maximise sales opportunities. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams across the business will be essential for success in this role.
