iptiQ is the primary insurance division of Swiss Re, the world's leading reinsurer. In iptiQ, we work with partners brands to offer insurance to customers across the world. Established 8 years ago, iptiQ is experiencing strong growth, driven by a vision to radically improve the way insurance works - by making it easier to deal with and more rewarding.
Within iptiQ, the Office of the Customer is a small team of 3 behavioural scientists and research specialists based in London, serving the different iptiQ partners around the world (US, EMEA and APAC) with responsibility for Customer Experience (CX), Behavioural Science and Customer Insight. This is the team you would be joining, working with the whole team but with a focus on supporting the Head of Customer Insight on research projects around iptiQ.

**About the Role**

Overview:

- 80-100% working capacity

Your main role will be to support our Head of Customer Insight and help the team in conducting research for our partners globally using a variety of quantitative & qualitative research methods.

Responsibilities will include:

- Plan, design and prepare a range of customer research activities to support other iptiQ colleagues on their key research questions. Concretely, this will mean crafting and running surveys, interviewing customers, sales agents, and others.
- Analyzing research data to synthesize clear and concrete findings.
- Confidently communicating research insights with colleagues and external partners to turn research findings into stories and actions that lead to impact and make valuable contributions.
- Contribute to establishing research best practices and standards within iptiQ, as well as actively maintaining a research repository to drive greater accessibility to customer insights across the business.
- The common theme to everything you do will be understanding customers through the lens of customer research and behavioural science.

**About You**
- Has at least 1-2 years of customer research experience in a commercial setting (e.g. writing surveys, conducting interviews, synthesising findings and presenting reports)
- Can demonstrate an excellent understanding and experience of using different research methods and knows when to use which method accurately.
- Is a motivated self-starter who is willing to independently carry out research projects.
- Is a great team player and good with people; can work effectively in a cross-functional team where is able to get support from a whole variety of colleagues, showing them the value of research.
- Is an advocate for customers within the business, and is an excellent communicator with the ability to coherently present findings in a compelling way while making recommendations based on sound analysis of data.

It would also be nice for you to have:

- additional languages (European language or Mandarin).
- graduate (or post-graduate) qualification in social sciences, e.g., in Behavioural Science, Research Methods, Psychology.
