**Job Overview**:
**The Young People's Support Worker will work within flexible supported accommodation and floating support for Children in Care, Care Leavers and Homeless 16/17-year olds. The role manages the initial period from when a child or young person is first referred to ensuring a smooth arrival and transition to planning their exit from the service including identifying suitable long-term accommodation and managing their expectations.**

**This role will be primarily based in our Ashford services which houses nine young people; this scheme is staffed 24 hours a day, with an office on site. Support is provided within their homes or at the office dependent on the individuals requirements.**

**Skills, Knowledge and Experience**:
**Essential**:
** To have a passion to support young people to achieve their aspirations.**
** To work as part of a dynamic team.**
** Are solution focused.**
** To work flexibly on a seven day rolling rota, which includes earlies and late (shift times 0800-1600 & 13:30-21:30) including 2 out of 4 weekends.**

**Salary**: £11.65-£12.10 per hour
