Caregiver

**Duties**:
To complement a group of local private carers who visit an elderly lady with dementia to provide early evening welfare check and the following:

- Provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in need
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
- Monitor and document changes in clients' health status
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and outings
- Follow care plans and communicate effectively with clients' families and healthcare professionals

**Skills**:

- First aid and CPR certification
- Experience in assisted living or home care settings
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration
- Familiarity with hospice care and dementia care practices
- Ability to provide physical assistance, including heavy lifting, as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £18.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 - 15 per week
