To ensure the tills in company are programmed with relevant data as per received details on requests and within given deadlines, in order for units to be able to process and report their sales, and be able to print customer receipt and the order to kitchen printers or screens for others to be able to fulfil it for the customer.

This includes programming / maintaining the main till system through central data manager as well as MyMicros reporting system and ensuring correct setups are achieved for various other reporting tools (e.g. Fox, SAP, Lynx); complexities according to brand requirements and different serving scenarios need to be taken into account when programming, as well as local needs, laws, exceptions of certain locations.

It includes setting up / maintaining / de-activating or deleting the items, promotions, service charges, tax, stores and various other functionalities (e.g. modifiers and condiments, table plans per unit with all related options, print classes linking items to relevant printer or screen, tax classes allowing correct accounting / displaying of VAT tax through the tills, employee classes allowing correct access for each level of users to various functions on tills, etc.).

Part of the job is related to maintaining the unit’s database in both systems together with their hierarchies, setting up new brands (working with various departments involved in opening, gathering information from various teams - ops, loss prevention, BSMs, marketing), adjusting existing brands as their needs change or evolve, setting up / disabling new units, monitoring the updates being sent & received by units, ensuring smooth launches f campaigns and programmed changes.

As well as programming, the job consists of diagnosing & investigating failures with data and requests originating from units (regarding items, promotions needed, or new functions on tills) and ensuring the swift resolution of issues and requests in a timely manner, communicating with all involved parties

**The Role** Main Duties**

**Micros till system**
- Processing marketers’ requests (price changes, item deletions, new items, new combo or set price meals, new promotions, any changes to items/meals/promotions’ details) in detailed and timely manner, making sure all updates are tested prior to being sent live to units;
- Creating extracts of data (relevant to job & brand done) to use for cross checking own jobs and for other teams and departments use;
- Ensuring that applied settings will report into other related systems correct to the type of the item, meal or promotions, deciding on most appropriate way of setting that item, meal or promotions up;
- Setting up and maintaining all aspects of the till functioning and displaying options / screens / functions exceptions which are related to division (Air / Rail/ Retail), brand (BK, Starbucks, etc.) and type of service (QSR, TSR);
- Setting up and maintaining auto sequences which rule reporting on Micros;
- Setting up and checking that the hierarchy, classification and tax applied to items, meals and promotions is correct as per the item, meal or promotion type;
- Setting up and ensuring that item, meal or promotion displays correctly on customer receipt (name, price & VAT) and prints (if applicable) to the correct kitchen / bar printer or screen and to any local or packer’s receipt printer;
- Processing currency rates changes (validation against bank announced rates, imput into system, publishing for unit’s use n Connections);
- Preparing tills with updates for testing sessions with brand or ops representative;
- Publishing information on till updates on connections - currency rates, brand forms, extracts of data for the their teams / departments’ use; producing screen shots of the till changes for brand communications;
- Programming the system with new units, unit amendments and unit closures; processing all relevant information deriving from that task (communicating with third parties, BSMs,, Marketing, Ops, Loss Prevention etc. teams as to what settings shoul
