**Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year**

Here at Seashell, we provide care and education for children and young people (up to 25 years old) with severe, profound and complex learning difficulties and disabilities, sensory impairment and communication disorders and autism.

We have an exciting new opportunity for Information Governance Practitioner to join our growing team.

**Key responsibilities**
- Day-to-day support to the Information Manager to ensure compliance of Seashell’s information assets
- Support information management business partnering across Seashell to ensure effective data protection compliance across all services
- Delivery of information governance and data protection training

**Requirements**:

- Experience in a data protection or privacy-related role, preferably in a regulated industry
- Training delivery experience
- Understanding of data protection laws, regulations, and industry best practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability and emotional

intelligence to build relationships, identify need, and influence decisions
- Working knowledge of the NHS Toolkit
- Motivated to learn & the ability to manage own learning
- Work independently and take responsibility
- Ability to balance business needs with information security requirements and find pragmatic solutions
