**Overview**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Claims handler to join our team.

As a Housing Disrepair Claims Handler, you will play a crucial role in assessing and managing housing disrepair claims. Responsibilities will include:

- Managing Inbound and Outbound Leads, Proactively contacting and engaging with hot leads regarding potential housing disrepair claims.
- Conducting thorough assessments of each case to determine the validity of housing disrepair claims, gathering necessary information and documentation from clients and building a case.
- Liaising with clients to obtain images and evidence of the housing disrepair for the purpose of strengthening their case.
- Maintaining accurate records of all interactions and correspondence with clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Managing your own clients, from initial assessment to resolution, including liaising with relevant parties such as solicitors, landlords, and property management companies.
- Effectively managing deadlines and timelines associated with housing disrepair claims to ensure timely resolution and client satisfaction.
- Good time management skills are essential as well as being a well organised individual.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar claims handling role, preferably within the housing disrepair sector.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong customer service orientation, with a focus on providing a positive experience for clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to housing disrepair claims in the UK is desirable but not essential.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and systems for case management and documentation purposes.
