Young Persons Housing Support Worker

BDS are currently recruiting for an experienced young persons housing Support Worker, working in the LN5 area of Lincoln.
You will be working with 16/17 year old's, care leavers up to the age of 21 including young parents and children.

Full time 35 hours a week, the service hours are between 8am and 6pm and works on a 3 week rolling rota,
Temporary ongoing position to the end of July 2024 initially with the possibility of becoming a permanent position,

Pay rate of £12.66 per hour PAYE or £16.54 per hour UMB

You will manage a caseload of clients in properties, there are 15 bed spaces.
To be actively involved in drawing up a suitable support plan, delivering the support to match.
Supporting young people with independent living skills,
Assisting into education
Assisting in maintaining their homes.

You will carry out property inspections and report repairs promptly to ensure we provide quality homes for our clients.

You will need a child and adult Enhanced DBS already in place for this position.
