- You will be working with the Group Editor and Head of Audience Development to develop and execute a coherent and successful social media strategy across heat and Closer to drive traffic to the sites and commercial revenue.- The Social Media Editor should have oversight of the brands’ output on social media, and should work to ensure traffic referrals, user engagement, and talkability across platforms. You'll also set KPIs and analysis of performance.**Key Responsibilities**:
- Oversee seeing of editorial and commercial content on social media sites, measuring and tracking traffic and engagement against targets.
Drive traffic, commercial revenues, increase affiliate sales, promote the print product and support subs growth.
Develop and execute social media strategies that will grow heat and Closer’s digital audience engagement.
Work with the Group Managing Editor and Head of Audience Development to shapre the celeb social strategy across all platforms and driving commercial revenue partnerships - Proactively responding to changing brand priorities and targets, and social media algorithm changes.
Devise and execute an on-brand social video strategy that drives commercial revenue, views and brand reach across all relevant platforms
Work closely with the central video team to on franchise opportunities and to maximise YouTube revenue
Shoot / Create and edit video for heat and Closer's social media
Liaise with the commercial team to ensure key client needs are being executed across heat and Closer’s social channels.

Develop and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest
Work closely with the Group Editor and Creative Director to ensure that the look, feel and tone of voice on social media output is spirited, distinctive, consisten and on-brand.
Lead a quarterly social review and present to the senior management team.

**What You'll Bring**:

- Proven experience running social media channels for a brand, preferably a media outlet
- Proven social media expertise
- Ability to shoot / create videos for social media
- Social media prowess on all channels - including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and TikTok
- Outstanding attention to detail, time management and organisation skills
- Adept at working well under pressure and quickly
- Flexibility to react to breaking news
- An in-depth knowledge of, and passion for, celebrity and entertainment news especially around heat and Closer’s key shows.
