Community Care Assistant 37.5 Hours

We care as much about our staff as we do our Service Users. We believe that you should be paid for all of your working day, including the time you spend traveling, and any gaps in your day without visits. We give you guaranteed hours so have the stability of knowing you have a guaranteed income each week. We offer support with training as we want you to grow and develop your talents. We are a small supportive team where we want you to feel valued and enjoy coming to work every day.
Your duties would include:
- Assisting with daily routine including mornings, lunchtimes and evenings.
- Assist with personal care.
- Prompting to take any medications.
- Taking them out shopping or attending local groups, events or appointments.
- Preparing meals and light household duties
You must have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. Our areas include: Somerton, Langport, Glastonbury, Street and the surrounding areas.
**Job Role**:
Our shifts include:
**Early: 07:00-15:00**
**Late: 14:00-22:00**
We have the following posts available:
37.5 hours (5 Days) - This consists of a mixture of early and late shifts and all staff work **alternate weekends.**
**Pay and Benefits**:
All staff members have a six month probation period.
- £12.00 per hour Monday-Friday
- £12.75 per hour Saturday and Sunday
- £20.50 per hour Bank Holiday
- 45p per mile mileage allowance
All new staff members will receive a **£75 signing bonus** on completion of three months within the role.
We also have 22.5 and 30 hour posts available.
