**Job overview**:
**An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Centralised Helpdesk/Clerical team providing a complete administrative support across the Group.**

As part of the team you will be responsible in operating the Group wide Estates/Transport Helpdesk and providing reception services to the Estates Department.

You will be based at the Royal Oldham Hospital but may involve some travelling to other locations as and when required.

**Main duties of the job**:
A member of the centralised Helpdesk/Clerical team providing complete administrative support across the Group, each post will provide rotational cover across all aspects of the service**.**

To Operate Group wide Estates/Transport Helpdesk receiving calls for maintenance Requests, Booking taxis and transport in accordance with Group Policy.

You must have excellent telephone skills.

It is essential that you are:

- computer literate and have good keyboard skills and have experience of using Microsoft work processing packages and have experience of using IM & T Systems for data entry.
- Good verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
- You must have the ability to work on own initiative without close supervision and able to work under pressure and deal with difficult situations.

- Computer Literate and keyboard skills
- Experience of using Microsoft word processing packages.
- Written and verbal communication skills in order to be able to liaise with staff at all levels of the organization and outside bodies
- Ability to work on own initiative without close supervision
- Excellent telephone manner
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with difficult situations
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Process enquiries/work requests, orders, invoices and take appropriate action
- Proven organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload with interruptions and changing priorities
- Tactful courteous and polite
- Ability to work across all sites when required

**Desirable criteria**:

- Experience of using IM & T systems for Date entry
