Lanarca is a consultancy company offering bespoke design and management consulting services to a small portfolio of longstanding private sector clients. Lanarca is also a business ‘sponsor’ for a charity established nine years ago by the Managing Director (Societi Foundation). The work of the charity is closely linked to the work of the company, with all team members getting involved (to a greater or lesser degree) in supporting the charity when needed. This role is primarily involved with supporting the two company Directors but will also be involved in supporting the charity as part of this role on an as needed basis (estimated 4-6 days per month within the contracted days) - in support of the Directors goals and responding to their priorities.

**About the role**

This is a key role, needed to support a growing workload for the Directors who require confidential, executive level administrative support, to assist in both the successful operation of a very busy and diverse consultancy business, plus personal support to the Directors to enable the smooth running of their worlds

The Personal Assistant (PA) for Lanarca will play a key role in our small team. Reporting to the Managing Director, the postholder will work closely with the 2 Directors, and across the small dedicated team. The PA will have a central role within the team, supporting the day‐to‐day running and administration of very busy diaries and a range of activities which the Directors are involved with - including the charity they founded and lead.

A key aspect of the role includes taking responsibility for a wide range of administrative tasks, planning agendas, undertaking research to support informed action by the Directors, taking minutes, comprehensive diary management, financial administration including liaison with the company accountant teams, preparing briefings for upcoming meetings, personal administration, and logistics planning including travel bookings.

The post holder will have responsibility for maintaining and developing electronic filing systems on behalf of the Directors, leading on projects from time to time and high calibre, proactive administrative support to enable the smooth running day‐to‐day activities.

Joining a small but busy team, this role provides variety, autonomy and will be fast paced, challenging and rewarding.

**About the location**

Lanarca has a fully equipped office base in Winthorpe, on the outskirts of Newark and within 20‐30 mins drive time to Lincoln and Grantham. Our office is also the base for the charity functioning of our office work. We act as a ‘base’ for clients from time to time also, receiving client incoming mail and providing office services from our base. This post will be an office based role, but with flexibility for some home based working, at the discretion of the Directors.

We are a small team and colleagues work across project areas to support each other when needed. You’ll be keen to work in this way, and enjoy working as part of a flexible, mutually supportive team.

**Essential criteria - skills and experience**

º Skilled in the Microsoft office suite (specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

º Ideally also experienced in Adobe Create Suite and Hootsuite (though training can be given).

º Experience of diary management and arranging meetings / preparing papers.

º High level of competence in office management and all aspects of administration, including effective in report compilation, report presentation and technical research skills.

º Excellent minute taker, able to plan and set agenda’s, support meeting delivery and create accurate records from fast paced discussions.

º A strong communicator, able to communicate messages clearly to a range of audiences at all levels - both verbally and in writing.

º Very strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise work and work independently.

º The ability to build productive working relationships quickly and to engend
