Secretary (part-time, 3 days a week)

This role will be working 3 days a week (days to be confirmed) for a leading independent firm of Development, Built Asset & Sustainability consultants. You will be reporting to Office Partners and the Office Manager.
- **Please Note: You will need previous experience of Technical Report Writing, this is an essential part of the role.**_
Job purpose:
An excellent opportunity for a commercial/professional services secretary to join a growing national building consultancy. You will join the team providing full secretarial and administrative support to the client and the technical team, as well as workingwith the secretarial team members in the London office and the national secretarial team. The role will also include meeting support and greeting visitors.
This is a part-time position for 3 days a week (days tbc) and will be office based to support the team.
Key accountabilities:

- Provide Partners and surveyors with high level accurate secretarial support carrying out audio typing of letters, survey reports, specifications, and minute notes when required. Some copy typing also required.
- Compiling large reports, with significant numbers of photographs and using the client's templates.
- Sharing Reception duties, answering telephone calls and taking messages, meeting and greeting visitors, and providing refreshments
- Photocopying and binding reports and documents
- Advanced knowledge of Word and Excel for calculations and schedules
- Dealing the incoming and outgoing post and taking parcels to the post office when needed
- Undertake fee billing through bespoke software
- Occasional diary management, arranging appointments, organising meetings, booking travel and accommodation
- Any other reasonable tasks that may be required as part of the role to support the office/team.

Performance criteria:

- 'Can do' attitude, to flex to range of tasks required
- 75 wpm, copy typing and accurate high-volume audio
- High standard of written English
- Excellent proof-reading ability
- Numerate
- Excellent document formatting skills
- Professional telephone manner
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
