**How you'll make a difference**:
The Creative Solutions Board seeks to address high complex needs and risks relating to mental and/or physical health, substance misuse, homelessness and offending, whose needs are not being met by the current system. These individuals and families are some of our most vulnerable service users.

The Creative Solutions Board hears from practitioners supporting these individuals/ families, talks through the challenges and issues and agrees actions and solutions.

As a Public Health Assistant, you will make a difference by helping drive improvements in the health and wellbeing of our residents and reduce inequalities in health outcomes.

**What will you be doing?**
- You will support the Creative Solutions Board Co-ordinator in the day to day running of the board, including co-ordination of meetings, supporting members of staff to complete their actions and develop the board so that it meets the needs of the people referred.
- You will help to promote the Creative Solutions Board and the message of system change through promotion and discussion with other agencies and partners and review referrals and paperwork to ensure it meets the needs of the project.
- You will produce a monthly practitioner newsletter to share good practice, innovation and new training opportunities to support the Creative Solutions Board practitioner network.

**What we need from you**:

- Ideally you will hold a professional qualification in a health and wellbeing related field i.e. a Certificate in Public Health, be working towards this or be able to demonstrate an equivalent level of knowledge and experience appropriate for the role.
- You will be able to demonstrate skills and / or experience of working in partnership across agencies.
- You will be able to plan, organise and schedule workload and tasks within agreed timescales.
- You will be good at building relationships and communicating.
- You will be able to develop and maintain records of both qualitative and quantitative information to monitor services.
- You will have a good level of general IT skills and the ability to use, or be trained in the use of, appropriate software packages.
